Who We are

“Tunza Dada,” meaning “Take Care of Sisters,” reflects our core philosophy, a commitment to sisterhood, mutual support, and collective growth. We create spaces where women are not only supported, but empowered to thrive, lead, and reimagine their futures.
Our approach goes beyond traditional support models. We invest in practical skills development, access to startup resources, and market linkages, ensuring that women are not just trained, but positioned to sustain and grow their economic opportunities.
At Tunza Dada, we do not believe in handouts, we believe in building pathways for transformation, dignity, and long-term self-reliance.
Our Mission
To empower young girls and women through inclusive training, mentorship, and community-driven innovation, enabling them to lead change in their homes, communities, and beyond.
Our vision
An inclusive society where young girls and women, in all their diversity, lead with dignity, thrive in wellness, and shape their communities through care, innovation, and solidarity.

Our Work and Impact
At Tunza Dada Initiative, our work is rooted in the understanding that empowerment is not one-dimensional. The lives of young girls, teenage mothers, and women we work with are shaped by interconnected realities, economic vulnerability, limited access to education, health challenges, and systemic inequality.
We respond through a holistic, community-driven approach that nurtures not just survival, but dignity, wellness, and long-term self-reliance. Our work extends beyond individuals into families and entire communities, creating ripple effects of sustainable and inclusive change.
Our Approach:
Our work is intersectional, inclusive, and deeply rooted in lived realities. We recognize that the challenges faced by young girls and women cannot be addressed in isolation.
By integrating wellness, education, economic empowerment, and advocacy, we create pathways for women and girls to not only overcome barriers, but to lead, thrive, and transform their communities.
We inform, inspire, and involve, ensuring that every beneficiary becomes an active driver of change within her home and community.
