Program Overview:
Starting a detergent-making business is one of our most successful economic empowerment programs. We provide comprehensive training and startup capital to enable single mothers to produce multipurpose liquid soap for both household and commercial use.

Tunza Dada CBO partnered with GulfLab Chemicals Limited, a specialized company in Kisumu that excels in detergent making for household and commercial applications. This partnership ensures our beneficiaries receive professional, industry-standard training and quality ingredients.
Program Process:
- Selection – Due to limited finances, we select the most needy cases for training and startup support
- Training – Hands-on instruction in detergent formulation, production, and quality control
- Startup Capital – Provision of initial materials and equipment to begin production
- Production – Beneficiaries produce multipurpose liquid soap for sale in their communities
- Mentorship – Ongoing business guidance and support
